Father's Day Baking Fun

For Father's Day this year, I was inspired by a post on bakerella, specifically, the fast food fun post from June 2009.

To recap:
- Brownie burgers on a cupcake bun
- Sugar cookie fries
Too cute, right?!!

So I invited my sister over and we got to baking (from mixes, for time reasons).

This was pretty much an all day adventure, and it was tons of fun!

I couldn't get the mustard color quite right, so we went with cheese. Also, I went for the shredded lettuce look, but some of the pieces in the background were a little too long!

These were a huge hit, everything tasted yummy, and I can say there were eaten a heck of a lot faster than it took to make them! But I was overall happy with the results, and I had a fun time baking with my sis!
