Best Husband Ever

So, you'll have to excuse my extremely long hiatus...ever since they blocked Blogger at work it's been much more difficult to keep up with one blog, let alone two! My suspicion is that this one will just turn into something I update occasionally, and I'll try to keep Violet's update on a more frequent schedule.

So, let me lay out the situation for you.

It's the last week in September, and I'm having one of those weeks where everything just plain old sucks. You know, you don't want to go to work, you don't want to do anything besides stay home in bed and snuggle with your two favorite people (John & Violet, obv's!).

Anywho (which is now an official word, not made up), it's Wednesday, and I just got out of my morning meeting and had slumped back into my office.

All of a sudden, the mail guy comes in with an early delivery and guess what it is...

Flowers!


Usually John is not a flowers kind of guy. In the 7-ish years we've been dating/married, I've only gotten flowers a handful of times. This makes each of those times even more special, as I can name all of them.



Seriously though, are these not the prettiest flowers?!



They were exactly what I needed. I felt so special and loved, especially because they were "just because" flowers! It transformed my week from a crappy week to an awesome one!

And that is why I have the best husband ever!
