Incorrectly Titled

So, upon much deliberation, I chose the web address for this blog as “I Married an Ironman”. Since triathlons are such a big part of my hubby’s (and therefore my) life, I felt that was an appropriate title.

But, as was pointed out to me by John himself, he is not yet an Ironman. His first Ironman race is August 30th. But he’s been training for it for this race for so long, I didn’t really think anything of it.

He has done quite a few Ironman 70.3 races, but no full Ironman races yet. He pointed this out because he was asking if I was trying to jinx him! OF COURSE NOT SILLY!

I guess I should have named my blog “I Married a Triathlete”, but I didn’t like the flow of that as much. Or I could have waited until after his race to create it, but I was just wanting a space to randomly write, so wasn’t a good option either.

So honey, if you’re reading this (and I know you do!), I guess you’ll just have to complete your race (as I know you’re planning, after all that training!) so you don’t make a liar out of me! Because, clearly, that's your only motivation for finishing the race! =)
